The Hungarian writer Péter Esterházy, the greatest exponent of postmodernism literary of Hungary, died today at the age of 66, reported the Magyar Magvetö editorial.


Born in Budapest on 14 April 1950 in one of the most important aristocratic families of Hungary, Esterházy he dedicated himself fully to the literature from 1978, after studying mathematics in the ELTE University in Budapest, and became one of the writers magyars more known in the world.

For Estarházy, "art is light", a light "that comes from the world, that is, of the reader", as declared in 2010, in an interview with EFE in Madrid.
